Description
This 2006 Fender Deluxe Active 5-String Jazz Bass, made in Mexico, combines the classic Jazz Bass feel with the versatility and extra power of an active electronics system. Finished in Candy Apple Red with a tortoiseshell pickguard and rosewood fingerboard, it has a sharp, classic Fender look that really stands out.
The 5-string configuration adds a deep, useful low B string, giving you extended range without sacrificing the familiar Jazz Bass playing experience. The active electronics provide additional tonal flexibility and output, making this bass equally at home on stage, in the studio, or during rehearsal. Roll in the tone you need and you can cover everything from articulate, punchy bass lines to fuller, powerful sounds.
This bass is in very good condition, with normal signs of use consistent with its age but presenting very nicely overall. It has been professionally set up by Hank’s Guitar Shop in Clearwater, so it plays smoothly and is ready to plug in and play.
It also comes with a 90-day warranty from Hank’s Guitar Shop, providing extra peace of mind. A great combination of classic Fender style, active versatility, and extended 5-string range.
