Description
If you’re searching for a unique vintage amp with character, power, and old-school charm, this 1970s Woodson W150-2 deserves a closer look. Built during an era when amplifiers were designed to be rugged and roadworthy, this impressive combo features a pair of 12-inch VOX GSH 1230-8 speakers that deliver rich, dynamic tone with the warmth and responsiveness that tube amp enthusiasts appreciate.
This amplifier is in fair cosmetic condition, showing the honest wear and aging expected from a vintage piece that has seen decades of use. Rather than hiding its age, the amp wears its history proudly and offers the kind of vintage appeal that many modern amplifiers simply cannot duplicate.
Included are the original-style castors for easier transport and a footswitch for convenient operation. Most importantly, this amplifier has been professionally inspected and tested by an experienced amp repair technician to verify proper operation. It has an updated power cord and new power indicator light bulb.
Whether you’re a collector, a vintage gear enthusiast, or a player looking for something different from the usual Fender and Marshall offerings, this Woodson offers a distinctive sound and personality worth experiencing.
