Learn Guitar Online or In-Person?

Learn Guitar the Right Way—With Real People Who Care

At Hank’s Guitar Shop / Clearwater Guitar Lessons, we don’t just teach guitar—we build musicians, confidence, and community.

You could spend hours lost on YouTube, piecing together lessons from strangers who don’t know your name, your goals, or the way you learn best. Even worse, they can’t see what you may be doing wrong or what you could be doing better.  Or, you could walk into Hank’s, where learning music still feels personal.

We offer real, hands-on lessons for all skill levels—whether you’re just picking up a guitar for the first time, dusting off an old one, or trying to break out of a rut. No gimmicks. No corporate nonsense. Just honest-to-goodness music-making, the way it’s meant to be.

Why Learn at Hank’s Instead of a Big-Box Store?

✔️ Down-to-Earth, Friendly Teachers – No pretentious shredders here. Just patient, passionate musicians who want to help you play.
✔️ A Folksy, Comfortable Vibe – Forget the sterile corporate feel. At Hank’s, we’re a front-porch kind of place where music is meant to be shared.
✔️ One-on-One Attention – Unlike YouTube, we give you real-time feedback, answer your questions, and help you avoid bad habits before they start.
✔️ Learn What You Love – Whether it’s country, blues, rockabilly, jazz, folk, or honky-tonk, we tailor lessons to your style and goals.
✔️ A Supportive Community – Connect with other musicians, join student jam nights, and be part of something real.

What We Offer:

• Beginner to Advanced Guitar Lessons (Acoustic & Electric)
• Bass Guitar & Ukulele Lessons (Because every band needs a solid rhythm section and some variety.)
• Music Theory & Songwriting Guidance (For those who want to go beyond just playing.)
• Gear Advice & Tone Tweaks (We’re a guitar shop, after all—let’s get you sounding great.)

“I kept saying, ‘with work, wife and kids, I just don’t have time to learn to play guitar.’  But now I feel less stressed, more relaxed and things are going great at work even though I spend more time with my family – AND take time to practice and play guitar!”
