Embark on a career journey as a stringed instrument technician with Hank’s Guitar Shop! We’re on the lookout for an apprentice in stringed instrument repair. This is your chance to acquire valuable skills under the tutelage of an industry expert, ensuring you’re always sought after in the field.
Most in-person guitar tech schools charge about $250 per day for training. In fact, we offer the same and even a better deal with $500 per week training. But for an apprentice with appropriate pre-training, like our 8-week apprentice course, who is willing to work for their extended training, we offer an unpaid but free on-site apprenticeship program.
This opportunity could be your stepping stone towards entrepreneurship, as we offer guidance and support to those aspiring to manage their own business in the future.
What We’re Looking For:
- A sincere desire to pursue a career as a guitar tech.
- Willingness to learn and get hands-on experience
- Able to reliably show up every day
- Can get along with other techs and customers
This option means you can’t always focus on just the topics and sequence of things you want to learn since you’re earning your training as you go, but most people will feel confident in their guitar tech abilities in a relatively short time.
