Description
Vintage Yamaha acoustics have earned a loyal following for their durability, craftsmanship, and rich, mature tone, and this 1980 Yamaha FG-336SB is a great example of why these guitars remain so popular decades after they were built. Finished in a classic natural appearance and in good condition, this guitar has been professionally set up by Hank’s Guitar Shop in Clearwater and includes a 90-day warranty.
The FG-336SB features the dreadnought body style that made Yamaha’s FG (Folk Guitar) series famous, delivering strong projection, balanced tonal response, and plenty of volume for strumming, flatpicking, and singer-songwriter performances. Years of natural aging have helped the wood develop a warm, open character that many players find especially appealing in vintage acoustic guitars.
This instrument shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age, giving it the character and charm that vintage guitar enthusiasts appreciate. More importantly, it has been carefully adjusted to provide comfortable action, accurate intonation, and dependable playability throughout the fretboard.
Whether you’re looking for your first quality acoustic, a reliable songwriting companion, or a vintage Yamaha to add to your collection, the FG-336SB offers outstanding value and timeless appeal. Ready to be enjoyed by its next musician for years to come.
