Description
For sale is this Vintage Mountain Dulcimer, hand-crafted by an unknown maker, beautifully preserved and ready to play. This traditional Appalachian instrument features a warm, natural wood finish and a charming pair of heart-shaped soundholes that add both visual appeal and resonance. Its scroll-style headstock and vintage open-gear tuners speak to its age and craftsmanship, while the body design produces that classic, sweet mountain tone dulcimer players love.
The instrument is in very good condition, showing only light cosmetic wear consistent with age. It has been carefully inspected, tuned, and tested in Open D (D-A-D) tuning, offering a clear, ringing tone and easy playability. Perfect for folk enthusiasts, collectors, or anyone looking to explore authentic American roots music.
Whether displayed as a piece of musical history or played daily for its soothing sound, this vintage mountain dulcimer will add charm and character to any collection.
Available now at Hank’s Guitar Shop in Clearwater — a wonderful piece of musical Americana that’s ready for its next chapter.
