• THE GOOD: Stellar’s top-shelf custom model! This piece is built like a tank with an all solid mahogany construction. Rare dark ebony fretboard. Sounds like you’d expect, creamy fat tone with sustain for days, like an old Les Paul. The three humbucker design gives her a more varied tonal selection. The frets are perfect and shine like a mirror. The original Alpine White polyurethane finish has naturally aged to a nice very slightly off-white. The ‘60’s-era-design thin profile neck has a comfortable and fast feel. The pearl binding looks awesome! The pots work perfectly, silent operation with no static or pops. It’s scary how close this guitar gets to a Gibson in both feel and tone! Setup with new strings.
• THE BAD: Just superficial stuff. Nothing that affects the performance and playability of this piece. A few of the tuners have tarnished some but still hold a note like they should. The bridge and stopbar have a tiny bit of oxidation. There are a few tiny white marks on the front of the headstock towards the top as shown in the pictures. On the back of the body towards the side, the finish has some discoloration as shown in the last picture. This was most likely caused by the previous owner constantly resting the guitar on their jeans while playing.
