Description
MasterPro Setup – Floyds, etc.
MasterPro Setups for floating bridge guitars are performed to strict specifications established by Guitars Done Right. Each step is completed in a defined sequence, with all critical adjustments measured and executed to within two-thousandths of an inch. Intonation is set for all strings.
Among the steps performed –
- Electronics test & cleaning
- Hardware check
- Truss rod adjustment
- Nut adjustment
- Special nutwork for smother tuning & bends
- Saddle adjustment
- Intonation
- Fretboard clean & condition
- Fret level check
- Elimination or reduction of light fret wear
- Frets highly polished
All factors affecting playability are inspected and correctly adjusted. Hardware and electronics are checked and cleaned. The bridge is properly floated.
Our special “Fret Renewal” process, eliminates light fretwear while retaining crowns. This step along adds years to the life of most frets. Frets are not just polished, but highly polished which further reduces future fretwear and makes playing easier and more enjoyable.
Your instrument then receives the MasterPro clean and polish regimen.
This service includes correction of high nut slots, proper slot angle refinement, and special nutwork to eliminate or reduce common nut binding issues such as “sticky” G and D strings.
This service does not include correction of uneven or high frets, nor repair of low nut slots.
Additional Services & Notes
