Description
This Jasmine by Takamine JS241 is an ideal choice for players who want a comfortable, easy-to-play classical guitar without sacrificing tone or build quality. With its 1/2-scale size (23 5/16″), the JS241 offers a shorter reach and lighter feel, making it perfect for younger students, smaller-framed adults, or anyone who prefers a compact nylon-string guitar. Despite its smaller size, it delivers warm, articulate sound with surprising projection.
This guitar is in excellent condition and has been fully inspected and professionally setup by Hank’s Guitar Shop in Clearwater, ensuring smooth playability, clear intonation, and a comfortable action right out of the case. It features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fretboard with 18 frets, and reliable chrome tuners for stable tuning. The natural satin finish gives it a clean, traditional look while allowing the wood to resonate freely.
Note: The picture of the soundhole shows a Model Number that looks like it has been altered from 141 to 241 but, according to our measurements, this is actually a Model 241 half scale, (whereas a 141 would be 1/4 scale) so this was actually a label correction made at the factory.
As with all our used instruments, this JS241 comes with a 90-day warranty for peace of mind.
