Description
For sale is a rare Augustino LoPrinzi Custom acoustic guitar, handcrafted in Clearwater, Florida, and signed by master luthier Augie LoPrinzi himself. The label identifies it as “Custom” with serial number 0933, placing it among the early Florida-built instruments produced after Augie regained control of his brand.
This guitar was built to a high standard, with select tonewoods and attention to detail that showcase LoPrinzi’s reputation for clear, balanced tone and effortless playability. It has Grover tuners to assure tuning stability and has been professionally set up by Hank’s Guitar Shop in Clearwater for comfortable action and accurate intonation, making it stage- and studio-ready. Hank’s warrantees it for 90-days.
Cosmetically, the guitar is in good condition for its age, with a chip near the pickguard and otherwise, excellent with only a few unnoticeable light scratches. The natural finish highlights the quality of the wood and gives the instrument a timeless appearance.
Collectors prize Clearwater-era LoPrinzis for their craftsmanship and scarcity, while players appreciate their resonance, projection, and responsiveness. This is an opportunity to own a hand-signed, Custom LoPrinzi that delivers both exceptional sound and long-term value.
