Description
This 2001 DeArmond Pilot DLX is a well-regarded active 4-string bass from the period when DeArmond instruments were produced under the Fender umbrella (1996–2001). Made in Korea, the Pilot DLX is known for its excellent build quality, modern design, and versatile tone.
The ash body paired with a neck-thru construction provides outstanding sustain, clarity, and a smooth, even response across the neck. Finished in a natural satin, the bass has a clean, understated look that highlights the wood grain. The 22-fret neck offers comfortable playability and easy access to higher registers, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.
Equipped with an onboard 3-band active equalizer, this bass delivers a broad tonal palette, from tight, punchy lows to clear highs that cut through a mix. It’s equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in rehearsal.
This bass is in very good condition, showing only light cosmetic wear from normal use. It has been professionally set up by Hank’s Guitar Shop to ensure comfortable action, accurate intonation, and reliable performance.
A 90-day warranty is included for peace of mind.
